The Mililani High School graduate was a key member of the UH defense, which captured the school’s first WAC championship in 1992 and earned a trip to the Holiday Bowl, the school’s first mainland bowl appearance. As a senior, he earned all-WAC honors and was selected to the Hula Bowl before being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1993 NFL Draft. He later was a member of the Denver Broncos where he won two Super Bowls.
