UH Sports Circle of Honor
Gwen Loud was an NCAA track and field champion for UH from 1982-84. She captured the 1984 NCAA long- jump title with a leap of 22 feet, 5 3/4 inches, becoming Hawai‘i’s first track All-American. Loud qualified for the U.S. National Team and competed in the World University Games, Pan-Am Games and World Championships.
