Kanoe Kamana‘o was just the second women’s volleyball player to earn AVCA All-America honors all four seasons at UH (2003-06) and led her teams to four NCAA Regionals. In her first season, she was named the AVCA National Freshman of the Year and led the Rainbow Wahine to a 36-2 record and the national semifinals. She was a three-time WAC Player of the Year, WAC Freshman of the Year and two-time Joe Kearney Award winner as the WAC’s top female athlete. She finished her career No. 7 all-time in NCAA career assists (6,428). Her teams finished with a combined record of 122-16 and were ranked No. 1 during the 2004 season.
