UH Sports Circle of Honor
Longtime radio announcer Bobby Curran was the voice of the Rainbow Warriors for more than three decades calling football and men’s basketball games since the early 1990s. The New York native called more than 400 broadcasts in 32 football seasons, the longest announcing streak in UH football history. He was also a longtime host of the popular sports talk show “The Bobby Curran Show” on KKEA. In addition to football and men’s basketball, he also called UH baseball and women’s volleyball games. He was named Hawai‘i Sportscaster of the Year six times by the National Sports Media Association.
