UH Sports Circle of Honor
Larry Price was a player, assistant coach and Rainbow head coach who won four letters in football after serving in the U.S. Army. Price was elected captain of the Rainbow football team an unprecedented three times in 1962, ’63 and ’64. He played in three Hula Bowl games for the Hawai‘i All-Stars in 1957 and ’59 and as a College All-Star in 1965. Price enjoyed a brief stint with the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams. Currently, Price is a KSSK morning radio show personality. He was honored as an Outstanding UH Manoa Alumnus in 1989.
