The University of Hawai`i at Manoa is committed to maintaining and promoting safe and respectful campus environments that are free from sex discrimination and gender-based violence. This includes: Sex discrimination; Sexual harassment; Gender-based harassment (including harassment based on an actual or perceived sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression); Sexual exploitation; Sexual assault; Domestic violence; Dating violence; and Stalking.

UH Manoa will take immediate action and appropriate steps to:
  • Eliminate the harassment
  • Prevent its recurrence
  • Address its effects

TITLE IX is a Federal law that protects people from discrimination based on sex. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Extracurricular Activities
