Jesse Sapolu was a four-year letterman for the Rainbows from 1979-82. He is a three-time all-WAC selection and was also named team MVP in 1982. He was picked in the 11th round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He enjoyed a brilliant 15-year NFL career with the 49ers that included four Super Bowl rings. He is a six-time all-pro and three-time Pro Bowl selection.
