Teee Williams was a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American selection who led the Rainbow Wahine to the 1987 NCAA Championship. A two-time AVCA National Player of the Year, Williams was a three-time all-conference pick and once held NCAA records for kill attempts in a match (103), season kills per game (6.19 in 1989), career kills per game (5.35), and career kill attempts per game (11.04). One of just three Rainbow Wahine ever to amass 1,000 career kills and digs (1,873 kills, 1,143 digs), Williams also holds several UH marks. After winning Big West Player of the Year honors in 1988 and ‘89, she joined the U.S. National team, winning a gold medal at the 1995 Grand Prix and a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Williams, who was voted to the NCAA 1980s All-Decade team, continued her career playing professionally abroad.
