2007 (Junior): Named an All-American by five different organizations…named second team wide receiver by the Sporting News and Walter Camp Foundation, third team by the Associated Press and Rivals.com and honorable mention by CNN/Sports Illustrated…named to Biletnikoff Award watch list…a first-team all-WAC selection for the third straight year…finished fifth nationally in receptions (8.4), ninth in total yards (1,213) and 10th in receiving yards per game (101.1)… started all 13 games at wideout...set a new school record with team-high 108 catches for 1,266 yards…scored 12 touchdowns...averaged 11.7 yards per catch...caught at least 2 passes in all 13 games...averaged a team high 110.8 yards per game.... led the team in total all-purpose yards (1,441), punt returns (18), and punt return yards (175)…finished second behind Grice-Mullen in receiving yards (1,266)…caught 12 passes for 162 yards at Idaho (Sept. 19)…had a career-long 48-yard catch in the win over Fresno State (Nov. 10)...set an new single-game school record with 15 catches (181 yards and 2 touchdowns) vs. Boise State (Nov. 23)…along with Ryan Grice-Mullen and Jason Rivers, became just the second trio of receivers in NCAA history to each post 1,000 yards in a season... caught at least one pass in all 39 games of his career…broke the WAC record for receptions (286)… ranked fourth in school history in scoring (250)… had 19 career 100-yard receiving games…he and QB Colt Brennan combined for 39 career touchdowns, tying the NCAA record held by LaTech’s Tim Rattay and Troy Edwards…left school with career records in receptions (293), total yards (3,610), receptions per game (7.51), yards per game (92.56), and touchdowns (41)…left school ranked second in career receiving.

 

2006 (Sophomore): Started all 14 contests...an honorable-mention All-America selection by SI.com...named first team all-WAC...led the squad in receptions (96), yards (1,220) and touchdowns (15)...caught for more than 100-plus yards in six games, including a 143-yard performance against Louisiana Tech (Nov. 11)...hauled in 10 passes three times...had five multiple touchdown games...finished seventh nationally in receptions per game (6.86) and 13th in the country in receiving yards per game (87.1)...dabbled as a punt returner, returning five punts for 83 yards.

 

2005 (Freshman): Started all 12 games...WAC Freshman of the Year and first-team selection...led WAC and set UH and tied the NCAA freshman mark with 14 TD receptions...also became part of the first tandem of UH receivers to tabulate 1,000-plus receiving yards in same season.

 

2003-04: Not enrolled in school.

 

Prep: A 2003 graduate of Skyline High School in Oakland, Calif...earned three letters each in football and basketball, and two in baseball...named first-team all-city wide receiver as a junior...earned second-team all-city quarterback honors as a senior.

 

Personal: Born Sept. 13, 1985, in Oakland, Calif...has a younger brother ...is the cousin of former Warrior Robert Grant...mother is Chinell Carpenter of Oakland, Calif.
