2008 (Junior): Played in all 14 games...started eight games at BUCK and MAC linebacker positions…finished with 53 tackles, including 32 solo, and six for loss (31 yards)…also had one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, and five pass break-ups…career-high nine tackles and one sack in win over Weber State (Sept. 6)...career-high nine tackles and first career interception in road win at nationally ranked Fresno State (Oct. 4)...four tackles and a forced fumble in win over Louisiana Tech (Oct. 25).
2007 (Sophomore): Played in 12 games, mainly on special team units...had a career-high two tackles versus Northern Colorado (Sept. 1).
2006 (Freshman): Played in nine games, seeing some action at linebacker and on special teams...recorded solo tackles at Alabama (Sept. 2) and versus Idaho (Oct. 28)...credited with two quarterback hurries.
2005: Redshirted.
Prep: A 2005 graduate of Word of Life Academy on O‘ahu...a two-time all-state selection and three-time all-league pick in football playing for Pac-Five...played in the HUB Goodwill Senior Bowl as a senior...also earned four letters in both track and baseball...named first-team all-league in track as a senior...a three-time league and two-time state discus champion...also a two-time all-league selection in basketball...a scholar-athlete.
Personal: Born in Mililani, O‘ahu...majoring in sociology...is the cousin of former Warriors Hercules Satele, Samson Satele, Amani Purcell, and Melila Purcell, and current Warrior Elliott Purcell...has one sister and three brothers...son of former UH linebacker Alvis Satele and former UH volleyball player Lee Ann (Pestana) Satele of Mililani, O‘ahu.
