2008 (Senior): Earned all-WAC honors for the third straight season…second consecutive season as a first team selection…named to the Lombardi Award Watch List…started 13 games...missed only game of the year at Fresno State (Oct. 4)…ranked second on the team with 81 tackles, including 46 solo…also recorded 9.0 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks and four quarterback hurries…posted sacks at Florida (Aug. 30), versus Washington State (Nov. 29) and versus Notre Dame (Dec. 24) in the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl…season-high 11 tackles against Idaho (Nov. 22)…followed that game with a 10-tackle performance against Washington State…also had nine tackles, including two tackles-for-loss against San Jose State (Sept. 27).
2007 (Junior): Stared all 13 games at “buck” linebacker...named first-team all-WAC...selected as a preseason Butkus Award candidate...finished second on the team with 105 tackles, including 11.5 for loss...also had four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns...ranked 12th in the WAC averaging 8.1 tackles per game...had six double figure tackles, including career-high 12 against Louisiana Tech (Sept. 8) and Utah State (Oct. 6)...also had two sacks, six quarterback hurries and four pass breakups...credited with one forced fumble and one fumble recovered.
2006 (Sophomore): Started all 14 games at “mac” linebacker...all-WAC second team...led UH and fifth in WAC in tackles (114)...led team with nine pass break-ups and four fumble recoveries...returned a fumble 20 yards for a TD at New Mexico State (Oct. 21)...boasted 10 or more tackles in seven games, including a season-high 11 at Alabama (Sept. 2), at New Mexico State (Oct. 21) and at Utah State (Nov. 4)...credited with five quarterback hurries.
2005 (Freshman): Played in eight games and made nine tackles (7 solo), including one TFL (-1).
Prep: A 2005 graduate of Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Wash... lettered in football and track...was an all-league, all-star and all-state player for head coach Mark Haley...named Metro League Defensive Player of the Year...named to the Seattle Post Super 11...a member of the honor roll.
