2009 (Senior): Started all 13 games at running back…rushed for team-highs of 554 yards and seven touchdowns…averaged 7.5 yards per carry and 42.6 rushing yards per game…caught 17 passes for 127 yards and averaged 9.8 yards per catch…career-high 167 rushing yards and three touchdowns against Utah State (Nov. 7) and was named WAC Player of the Week…rushed 66 yards on five carries, including a 45-yard scamper against Fresno State (Oct. 10)…had two rushing touchdowns against New Mexico State (Nov. 14)…also scored against Washington State (Sept. 12) and at San Jose State (Nov. 21)…four carries went for 25-plus yards…career-high four receptions against Central Arkansas (Sept. 4).
2008 (Junior): Played in 10 games...started first three games in the backfield...rushed 28 times for 102 yards and one touchdown...averaged 3.6 yards per carry...also hauled in 10 catches for 70 yards...tallied season-high 72 all-purpose yards (33 rushing, 39 receiving) in season-opener at Florida (Aug. 30)...season-high 34 yards rushing and one touchdown in home win vs. Weber State (Sept. 6)...seven carries and 24 yards in home win vs. Louisiana Tech (Oct. 11)...saw limited time the rest of the season.
2007 (Sophomore): Started four games at running back...second-leading rusher with 219 yards on 33 carries and two touchdowns...had a 47-yard touchdown run at Louisiana Tech (Sept. 8)...also had 16 receptions for 146 yards receiving...rushed for 65 yards and one score against Fresno State (Nov. 10)...academic all-WAC.
Prior To UH: Played freshman season at the University of Nebraska in 2005...saw action in nine of the final 10 games...a member of the kickoff coverage team that ranked among the nation’s best...made his only tackle on the opening kickoff against Texas Tech...also provided depth at free safety...was named 2005 Nebraska offensive scout team MVP...attended Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Wash., in 2006, but did not play football.
Prep: A 2005 graduate of Pasco High School in Washington...a four-year letterwinner in football...starred at both running back and defensive back...racked up 4,929 yards and averaged 10.7 yards per carry during his career...a Parade All-American...a USA Today Preseason Super 25 player and a participant in the U.S. Army All-American game...helped team to a state semifinal appearance in 2004...rushed for 1,745 yards and 23 touchdowns on 127 carries as a senior...also caught five passes for 144 yards and a touchdown...capped his senior season with 189 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries in the state semifinal loss...earned first-team all-state honors from both the Seattle Times and the Associated Press in 2004...rushed for 1,806 yards and 32 touchdowns on 212 carries, with another two scores among his nine receptions as a junior...helped Pasco to the Class 4A state title in 2003, as he earned second-team all-state and conference co-Offensive Player-of-the-Year honors...also earned three letters in basketball and two in track...captured the state title in the 100-meters as both a freshman and sophomore.
