Biography

2008 (Senior): Played in eight games…started four games at left guard and two at left tackle…started first three games of the season (at Florida, vs. Weber State, at Oregon State) before being sidelined for six straight games…returned to action in win at New Mexico State (Nov. 8)…started final three games of the season (vs. Washington State, vs. Cincinnati and vs. Notre Dame) at left guard.

2007 (Junior): Started all 13 games at left tackle...member of offensive line that ranked first in the nation in scoring (43.4).
 
2006 (Sophomore):Played in 11 games...did not play in three of the final four games, missing SJSU, Oregon State and Arizona State.

2005 (Freshman): Played in 11 games...earned a season-high grade of 88 percent at Louisiana Tech (Oct. 8).
 
2004: Redshirted...named team’s Most Valuable Offensive Scout.
 
Prep: A 2004 graduate of Tafuna High School in Tafuna, American Samoa... played two years of varsity football...played all three positions on the line, primarily at center...also participated on the defensive line as a senior... earned all-star accolades in his junior and senior seasons, including first-team honors as a senior...named top high school offensive lineman in American Samoa and school’s Male Athlete of the Year as a senior...also played basketball and baseball...a member of the National Honor Society.
