Biography

2008 (Senior): Played in 13 games with three starts…led the team in rushing attempts (99) rushing yards (443) and rushing touchdowns (6)…averaged 4.5 yards per carry…also added 15 catches for 86 yards…scored first touchdown of the season on a 3-yard run at Boise State (Oct. 17)…13 carries for a career-high 88 yards and two touchdowns in win at New Mexico State (Nov. 8)…also had a career-long 48 yard run versus the Aggies…rushed for a pair of touchdowns in win versus Idaho (Nov. 22)…scored for third consecutive game with a touchdown in win versus Washington State (Nov. 29).

2007 (Junior): Appeared in four games as a backup running back...finished third on the team in rushing with 23 carries for 190 yards...also hauled in nine receptions for 76 yards...breakout game was against Washington (Dec. 1) in regular season finale in which he had 10 rushes for 82 yards and six receptions for 61 yards.

2006: Attended Kapiolani Community College.

2005: Redshirted

Prior To UH: Attended Menlo College in the fall semester of 2004...lettered in football...received a Dean's Scholarship.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Konawaena High School on the Big Island of Hawai‘i...lettered twice in football, basketball and track, and once in soccer...two-time all-league selection under head coach Todd Brown...garnered conference player of the year honors his senior season and team MVP honors his junior season...a member of the all-league 4x100-meter relay team...member of the honor society.
