Biography

2011 (Senior): Placed fifth in the discus at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 152-1 (46.35m)…also took ninth in the shot put with a season-best throw of 42-5.5 (12.94m)…seasonal-best shot put throw was 43-3.75 (13.20m) at the Terry Albritton Invitational…finished 11th in the shot put at WAC Indoor with a heave of 41-9.75 (12.74m).

2010 (Junior): Placed eighth in the shot put at both the WAC Indoor Championships with a mark of 42-1.25 (12.83m) and at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a seasonal-best 44-1.5 (13.45m)…finished sixth in the discus at WAC Outdoor with a throw of 151-5 (46.15m)…seasonal-best discus throw of 153-1 (46.67m) at the Beach Invitational (April 17).
 
2009 (Sophomore): Qualified for the NCAA West Regionals in the discus, where she finished 22nd...placed seventh in the discus, ninth in the shot put, and 15th in the hammer throw at the WAC Outdoor Championships...seasonal-best throw of 163-9 in the discus at the Beach Invitational...also heaved season-best 42-9 in the shot put at the WAC Championship and 140-8 in the hammer at the Rainbow Relays...placed 12th in the shot put and weight throw at the WAC Indoor Championships.

2008 (Freshman): Placed seventh in the discus (149-0), 12th in the shot put (40-9.5), and 16th in the hammer throw (130-2) at the WAC Outdoor Championship...seasonal-best heave of 41-7.25 in the shot put at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 18)...placed 12th in the shot put (41-8.75) and 13th in the weight throw (47-9) at the WAC Indoor Championship.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Word of Life Academy on O‘ahu...a three-time letterwinner in basketball and volleyball and four-time letterwinner in track...three-time first team all-league in basketball (Division II) and volleyball (Division I)...named league co-Player of the Year (DII) for basketball in 2003...a first-team all-state pick in 2005 and second team all state in 2006 for volleyball...three-time state champion in the discus...three-time state champion in the shot put...named to 2006 Nissan Hall of Honor and Gatorade Female Athlete of the Year for track.

Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu...intends to major in family resources...has two sisters...father Joe played football for UH...parents are Joe and Ann Onosai of Kane‘ohe, O‘ahu.
