Biography

2012 (Senior): Captured the silver medal at the WAC Indoor Championship in the high jump for the fourth consecutive year with a seasonal-best mark of 5-6 (1.68m)…also captured silver at WAC Outdoor with a seasonal-best 5-8 (1.73m)…ranks third all-time in the school’s outdoor list and fourth in the indoor list.

2011 (Junior): Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the high jump for the second straight year…tied for 32nd with a jump of 5-5 (1.65m)…captured gold medal in the high jump at the WAC Outdoor Championship with a clearance of 5-10.75 (1.80m)…also ran the second leg of the 4x100 relay team which placed sixth at WAC Outdoor…won the silver medal in the high jump at WAC Indoor with a mark of 5-5.75 (1.67m)…season-best indoor mark of 5-8 (1.73m) at the UW Preview.

2010 (Sophomore): Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the high jump…tied for 14th with a jump of 5-8.5 (1.74m)…won silver medals at the WAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships, the latter of which she matched her PR of 5-10.75 (1.80m)...cleared 5-10 (1.78m) at the UW Indoor Open, which was an NCAA provisional mark and new indoor personal best...earned WAC Athlete of the Week honors for that performance.

2009 (Freshman): Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the high jump...captured the silver medal at the WAC Indoor Championship...seasonal-best jump of 5-9.75 at the Northern Arizona Classic...did not participate during the outdoor season.

Prep: A 2007 graduate of ACG Strathallan of Auckland, New Zealand…lettered four years in track and field…Secondary Schools National High Jump Champion from 2004-07…participated in the 2005 IAAF Youth World Championships…2005-06 WU19, WU16 National high jump champion…2006 Oceania record holder and champion…2007 WU19 National high jump champion…2008 Women’s National high jump champion…placed third in the Australian National Meet in 2008.

Personal: Born in Auckland, New Zealand…plans to major in nutrition or sports science…has three sisters…parents are Ken and Trish Saddleton of Auckland, New Zealand.
