Biography

2011 (Track): Placed 16th in the 10,000-meter run (42:10.19) at the WAC Outdoor Championship…season-best time of 39:00.44 at the CSULA Twilight Open…ran seasonal-best 18:53.63 in the 5000-meter run at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational…placed 26th in the 3000-meters at the WAC Indoor Championship...named academic all-WAC.

2010 (Track): Team leader in the 3000-meter, 5000-meter, and 10,000-meter events…season-best marks of 10:22.84 at the Trojan Invitational (March 20), 18:01.12 at the Stanford Invitational (March 26), and 38:11.02 at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 17), respectively…placed fourth in the 5000-meter run at the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 17:53.33 and finished 10th in the 3000-meter and mile events…also competed in the distance medley relay…academic all-WAC.
 
2009 (Cross Country): Competed in six of seven meets…was the team's only competitor at the NCAA West Regionals where she placed 113th overall with a 6K time of 23:07:57...captured the Big Wave Invitational title with a time of 15:05.44 at the 4K course...placed 24th overall at the WAC Championships (20:33)...team's top finisher at the HPU Invitational (18:05).

Prior To UH: Attended the University of Tampa for three years…competed in cross country for three years and track and field for two years…team captured the cross country conference championship in 2007 and ’08 and competed at nationals from 2006-08…team placed 10th at nationals in 2008…two-time first team all-conference selection…in 2008, earned All-America honors at nationals by placing 16th and captured the NCAA South Regional championship.
 
Prep: A 2006 graduate of Wharton High School in Tampa, Fla…lettered four years in cross country and track and field…team won the conference and regional championship in 2004 and ’05…placed eighth in the state cross country meet as a junior and senior…in track and field, placed fourth in the 1600-meter run and eighth in the 3200-meter run at the state competition.
 
Personal: Born in Tampa, Fla…majoring in architecture…has one brother…parents are Jack and Cathy Forrester of Brandon, Fla.
