Biography

2012 (Senior): Qualified for NCAA West Preliminary round in the hammer throw for the third time in her career…placed 29th with a mark of 178-11 (54.53m)…captured the bronze medal at the WAC Outdoor Championship posting a personal best mark of 188-11 (57.58m), ranking second all-time school history…also placed seventh in the weight throw at WAC Indoor posting a personal-best result of 55-8.5 (16.98m), which ranks third in all-time in school history.

2011 (Junior): Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the hammer throw for the second straight year…placed 27th with a mark of 179-5 (54.71m)…captured the bronze medal in the hammer throw at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best mark of 184-11 (56.36m), which ranks second all-time in school history…placed ninth in the weight throw at WAC Indoor with a throw of 53-11.25 (16.44m).

2010 (Sophomore): Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round and finished 41st with a throw of 171-7 (52.29m)...captured the bronze medal at the WAC Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw with a mark of 177-8 (54.16m)…season-best throw of 181-8 (55.37m) at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 16)…placed fifth in the weight throw at the WAC Indoor Championships with a mark of 52-6.5 (16.01m)…took first place in the weight throw at the Lobo Challenge (Jan. 29) with a personal best mark of 53-11.25 (16.44m).

Summer 2009: Competed for Canada at the Pan American Junior Championships, where she placed fourth...captured the hammer throw competition at the Canadian Junior Championships.
 
2009 (Freshman):
 Seasonal-best throw of 173-7 in the hammer at the Mt. SAC Relays...placed sixth at the WAC Outdoor Championships.
 
Prep:
A 2008 graduate of Dover Bay Secondary School in Nanaimo, B.C., Canada…captured the hammer at the B.C. Summer Games, Canadian Legions, Canadian Juniors, and B.C. Juveniles…named to Team Canada for World Youth Game in 2005 and 2007 (Morocco and Czech Republic)…won female athlete of the year award in 2007 by Dover Bay Secondary…personal best in hammer is 54.84 meters.

Born in Nanaimo, B.C., Canada…plans to major in pre-dental…has three sisters and one brother...parents are Craig and Bev MacCorquodale of Nanaimo, B.C., Canada.
