2011 (Cross Country): Competed in three meets…season-best time was 22:44 at the BYU-Hawai‘i Invitational, where she placed 20^th.

2011 (Track): Competed during the indoor season...redshirted for the outdoor season...named academic all-WAC.
 
2010 (Cross Country): Competed in four meets and placed among the team's top 5 in one meet … posted a 4K time of 18:21.26 at the Big Wave Invitational which placed her 30th overall…was the team’s fifth best finisher at the HPU Invitational “B” with a time of 21:41 that placed her 27th overall.

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Freedom High School in Oakley, Calif…lettered two years in swimming, one year in cross country, one year in track and field, and one year in water polo…named team MVP for cross country in 2006…selected to Bay Valley Association all-league second team in 2006.

Personal: Born in Palo Alto, Calif…intends to major in elementary education…has three brothers and one sister…parents are Mike Sweany and Angel Taylor of Martinez, Calif.
