Biography

2014 (Sophomore): Participated in the Big West Conference Championship in the heptathlon, high jump and long jump…did not post a height in the high jump…placed 15th in the heptathlon (3,815 points) and 21st in the long jump (16-0.25/4.88m)…totaled 3,464 points in her first-ever heptathlon at the California Multis…placed 19th in the pentathlon (2,965 points) at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Championship…competed in her first career-pentathlon at the UW Invitational, breaking into the school’s Top 10 list with a score of 3,013 points to place 17th…won her heat in the 60-meter hurdles with a PR time of 9.91 seconds.
 
2013 (Freshman): Competed in the 200-meters, 400-meters and long jump events…placed 18th in the long jump at the Big West Conference Championships with a mark of 17-1.5 (5.22m)…set PR jump of 17-8 (5.38m) to place seventh at the Stanford Invitational…seasonal-best time of 26.82 seconds in the 200-meters at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational…posted best 400-meters time of 1:00.14 at the Sunrise Meet #5…during indoor season, ran 26.96 in the 200-meters at the Husky Classic and 1:00.65 in the 400-meters at the UW Indoor Open.
 
Prep: A 2012 graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy in Honolulu, O‘ahu…lettered in track and field for three years and once in paddling…in track, competed in the 400-meters, 800-meters, 4x400-meter relay, long jump…earned first-team all-ILH honors in the 400-meters and long jump during junior and senior seasons…placed sixth at the state championships in the 400-meters in 2011…runner-up at the ILH championships in the long jump as a senior…team’s Most Valuable Player during freshman and sophomore seasons and Most Valuable Jumper in junior and senior years…member of sprint medley relay team that set a meet record at the Punahou Relays in 2012…member of honor roll as a junior…competed with the Godspeed Track Club in 2012.
 
Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu…intends to major in biology…has one sister…parents are Kevin and Carole Kirk of ‘Ewa Beach, O‘ahu.
