Biography

2015 (Senior):
  • Posted PRs in both the hammer throw and javelin events
  • Threw the hammer 151-3 (46.10m) for a new personal best and 20th place at the Big West Conference Championships
  • PR’d in the javelin with a throw of 118-10 (36.23m) at the CSULA Twilight Open
  • Competed in the weight throw during the indoor season
  • PR throw of 46-10¼ (14.28m) to place 29th at the MPSF Championships
 
2014 (Junior):
  • Personal-best javelin throw of 115-9 (35.28m) at the Rainbow Relays
  • Placed 12th in the javelin (107-4/32.73m) and 24th in the hammer throw (131-3/40.02m) at the Big West Conference Championship
  • PR hammer throw of 147-7 (44.98m) at the Randall Cunningham Invitational…academic all-Big West
 
2013 (Sophomore):
  • Competed in the hammer, javelin, weight throw, and shot put events
  • Placed 16th in the javelin competition at the Big West Conference Championships
  • Set PR of 101-8 (31.00m) in the javelin at the Beach Invitational
  • Placed fourth in the hammer at the Sunrise Meet #5 (108-3/32.99m)
  • Named to the Big West Academic all-conference team
 
2012 (Freshman): 
  • Competed in the weight throw, shot put, javelin and hammer throw
  • Named UH scholar-athlete

Prep:
  • A 2010 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, O‘ahu
  • Lettered two years in basketball, judo and volleyball
  • Placed third in the 154-lb weight class for the 2009 HHSAA state judo championships
  • Member of the National Honor Society (2007-10)
  • Also a member of the Student Government Association, Peer Mediator, Nature Club, and Athletic Leadership Council
