Biography

2009 (Senior): Played in two games against Boise State (Oct. 24) and Utah State (Nov. 7).

2008: Redshirted.

Prior To UH: Played two seasons at Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif...redshirted his first year at Cerritos and played in three games as a freshman before suffering a knee injury... returned midseason in 2007 and caught 21 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Gardena High School in California...earned two varsity letters in football...played both wide receiver and safety as a junior...tallied 565 yards receiving and seven touchdowns on offense and had two interceptions on defense...named first-team all-league...also named team's co-offensive player of the year, receiver of the year, and most improved...as a senior tallied 342 yards receiving and four touchdowns, while being named team's receiver of the year.

Personal: Born in San Francisco, Calif...intends to major in business...has two brothers and four sisters...parents are Carolyn and James Bell of Los Angeles, Calif.
