2001 and 2002 (Freshman and Sophomore): A two-time letterwinner at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif....played under coaches Jon Altobelli and Tim McDonald...named Pitcher of the Year for the team...drafted in the 10th round of the MLB draft by the Montreal Expos.

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Fountain Valley HS in Fountain Valley, Calif....played under head coach Ron LaRuffa...named pitcher of the year in 1997 and MVP of the league in 1998...also named to the honor roll.
