Biography

2005 (Junior): Went 2-3 in 14 appearances...recorded 21 strikeouts in 22.1 innings with a 4.43 ERA.

2004 (Sophomore): Made a team-high 22 appearances, including one start…had a team-low 3.29 ERA with a 4-1 record and three saves…combined for two shutouts…pitched 2.0 perfect innings vs. Florida International (2/15)…gave up just one run on two hits with three strikeouts in 4.0 innings at Louisiana Tech (3/25)…strung together 8.2 scoreless innings in five appearances between 4/29 and 5/8…gave up just one hit in 3.2 innings with four strikeouts at Pacific (5/25)…made lone start at San Jose State (5/29).

2003 (Freshman): Made 17 appearances, logging in 25.0 innings...finished the season with a 3.96 ERA and two saves...started the year with four consecutive scoreless innings in four appearances...best and longest outing came in the Easter Tournament against Air Force (3/28).

Prep: A 2002 graduate of St. Louis School in Honolulu...played three years under head coach Dean Sato...honorable mention all-ILH in 2002...member of the honor roll.

Personal: Born in Pearl City, O'ahu...lists former UH volleyball player Kim Willoughby as his favorite athlete...other favorites include steak, the movie "The Fast and the Furious," the TV show "Friends," actress Jessica Alba and singer Nelly.
