Biography

2006 (Senior): Made nine relief appearances...finished the season with 1-0 record with one save...had an ERA of 1.59 in 17 innings with 19 strikeouts and allowing only three earned runs and three walks...pitched 2.0 shutout innings allowing only one hit.

2005 (Junior): Made 18 appearances, all in relief...went 1-0 with two saves and a combined shutout...pitched 32.1 innings with a 2.51 ERA and 29 strikeouts...struck out five in 3.0 perfect innings vs. Alabama (2/12) to get his first save of the season...had four strikeouts with no earned runs in 3.0 innings vs. Pacific (2/19)...had a 10.1-inning scoreless streak (3/2-4/13) and a 14.1-inning streak without an earned run (3/2-4/20)...gave up no runs and just two hit while striking out five at San Francisco (4/6)...struck out the only batter he faced to get the save vs. Nevada (4/28)...pitched 2.2 no-hit innings with three strikeouts to get the win at Louisiana Tech (5/28).

2004 (Sophomore): Made eight appearances, including one start...had season cut short due to a back injury, earning a medical redshirt...ended the season with a 1-0 record with two saves and a 5.71 ERA in 17.1 innings pitched...pitched 3.0 innings, giving up just one run on two hits.

2003 (Freshman): Tied for the team-lead with 23 appearances, starting twice...combined for two of UH's three shutouts...finished third on the team with a 3.31 ERA...gave up just one run in his last nine appearances (12.2 innings)...pitched three innings vs. UCLA, giving up no earned runs and just one hit in first collegiate appearance...picked up first win in a three-inning, one run outing vs. Coastal Carolina.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Iolani School in Honolulu...lettered three years in baseball under Dean Yonamine and one year in football under Wendell Look...two-time honorable mention all-Interscholastic League of Honolulu...named 2nd team all-ILH and honorable mention.
