2016 (Senior): Due to an injury suffered in the fall, only appeared in two games during the last two series of the season…recorded two at bats—one on UH’s Senior Day against Cal Poly (May 7) and then during last game of the season at Long Beach State (May 14)…in her career, appeared in 75 games with 11 starts with 19 runs scored, three hits and was 5-of-6 in stolen bases…named a UH Scholar-Athlete with honors (3.21-3.50 cumulative GPA).
2015 (Junior): Appeared in 16 games with three starts in centerfield...primarily used as a pinch-runner...hit .143 overall (1-for-7) with four runs scored...was 1-for-1 in stolen bases...scored the winning run in an 8-7 eight inning game against Longwood (Mar. 5) on a sacrifice fly hit by Kristina Akiona...named a 2015 UH Scholar-Athlete.
2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in 33 games and with eight starts—four in leftfield and four as designated player…appeared 14 times as a pinch runner…hit .125 overall (2-for-16) while scoring five runs…got first collegiate hit against Nevada in Las Vegas, NV (Feb. 16)…earned Big West All-Academic honors.
2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 24 games...primarily played as a pinch runner...scored 10 runs on the season...scored first collegiate run against Ole Miss (Feb. 7)...stole three bases--one each against St. Mary's (Feb. 8), Western Kentucky (Mar.1) and East Carolina (Mar. 9).
Prep: A 2012 graduate of Kamehameha Schools—Hawai‘i in Kea‘au on the island of Hawai‘i…earned four varsity letters in softball…helped lead the Warriors to three conference championships...earned several accolades during her high school career, including being named the 2010 Division II Player of the Year; 2010 all-state honorable mention; and all-conference in 2010 and 2012…senior year batting average was .419.
Personal: Born in Hilo, Hawai‘i…majoring in English…has one older brother and one younger brother…older brother is former UH baseball standout Kolten Wong who was a first round draft pick of the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft…parents are Keala and Kaha Wong of Hilo, Hawai‘i.
