Biography

2016 (Senior): Started all 54 games in right field…completed her stellar career starting in 215 consecutive games—missing only the very first game of her freshman season…finished the season with a .273 batting average (44-for-161)…led Hawai‘i with 10 doubles (finished her career ranked No. 3 in UH career record book with 45), 22 walks (a career high and ranked No. 8 in UH career records with 69) and on base percentage (.378)…scored 24 runs with 13 RBI’s… had the second longest hitting streak of the season for the team spanning 10 games starting against Ole Miss (Feb. 13) and ending after UH played Portland State (Feb 26)…was 3-for-3 in stolen bases…finished third on the team with eight multiple-hit games…tallied a season-high three hits against UC Riverside (Apr. 15) and a season-high three RBI against CSUN (Apr. 9)… had the second highest batting average at .259 with runners on base and the third highest at .400 batting with the bases loaded…in conference hit .266 (17-for-64) leading the team with conference team-highs of eight runs scored, four doubles, two homeruns (tied with Rachel Lack and Nicole Lopez), eight walks and a .422 slugging percentage…named to the all-Big West second team as an outfielder…named a UH Scholar-Athlete with highest honors (3.51+ cumulative GPA).

2015 (Junior): Started all 54 games—51 in rightfield and three in centerfield…finished the season with a .293 batting average (51-for-174)…led Hawai‘I with 38 runs scored (career high), 51 hits (tied with Leisha Li‘ili’i), 11 doubles and six stolen bases in eight attempts (career highs)…also led UH with 14 multiple-hit games—including a pair of games with a season-high three hits against Columbia (Mar. 17) and Long Beach State (Apr. 11)…finished second on the team with eight multiple-RBI games—including two games in which she drove in four runs (tied her career-high) in UH’s final two games of the season against UC Davis (May 8 and 9)…had an eight game hitting streak from Mar. 28-Apr. 11 and a 14-game reached-base-safely streak…tallied a career-high eight home runs and 30 RBI on the year…scored two runs in eight games with the last coming against UC Davis (May 8)…in conference hit .288 (21-for-73) with a team-high 15 runs scored and four doubles…was second on the team in conference with 13 RBI and four home runs…named a 2015 UH scholar-athlete…named all-Big West honorable mention.

2014 (Sophomore): 
Started all 50 games as a sophomore—45 in rightfield, three at pitcher; and two as the designated player…led Hawai‘i with 36 runs scored and 11 doubles…was second on the team with a .296 batting average and 48 hits…was tied for third on squad with seven home runs…recorded a career-high five hits in five at-bats while scoring a career-high three runs against Portland State (2/15/14)…tied her career-high launching two home runs with four RBI against Valparaiso (3/14/14)…tied her career-high scoring three runs and tying career-high with a pair of doubles against Cal  State Northridge (5/3/14)…as a pitcher made nine appearances in the circle…went 0-3 with two complete games with 25.2 innings pitched...named to the Big West's All-Academic team.

2013 (Freshman):
Started and appeared in 57 games as a freshman--35 in rightfield, 20 as the designated player, two at pitcher...finished second on the team with a .320 batting average with a team-high 57 hits in 178 at-bats...recorded UH's longest hit streak on the team with 15 straight games (Mar. 30-May 3)...also was tied for team lead with 13 doubles with Kelly Majam and four triples with Kayla Wartner...tied for team-lead with 17 multiple-hit games with Jazmine Zamora and Majam...scored 30 runs with seven home runs and 32 RBI for a .556 slugging percentage...was also 4-for-4 in stolen bases...hit .571 with the bases loaded...against UC Davis (Mar. 29) cranked two home runs to drive in four RBI--both career-highs...as a pitcher, posted a 2-2 record with a 6.67 ERA in 21.0 innings pitched...earned first career win over UAB (Feb. 7) and also earned the victory over Washington (Feb. 8)...named to the all-Big West First Team...started all 24 conference games and hit .369 (31-for-84) with four doubles, four triples, four home runs and 16 RBI.

Prep:
A 2012 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, O‘ahu…earned four varsity letters in softball… is a three-time first-team all-state; three-time all-league; three-time state all-tournament selection; and two-time Division I state tournament Most Valuable Player…became the first player from MPI to be selected as the Gatorade Hawaii State Softball Player of the Year as a junior and then again as a senior…is just the fourth player in Hawaii history to earn the Gatorade honor twice…was recognized as MPI’s Athlete of the Year in 2012…helped power the Owls to back-to-back Division I state tournament titles as a junior and senior and to three consecutive league championships (2010, ’11, ’12)…as a senior pitcher, she posted a 17-2 record with a 1.17 ERA and 113 strike outs in 114 innings pitched and on offense she batted .592 with 26 RBI, four home runs and a .667 on-base percentage…as a junior posted a 17-3 record on the mound with a 1.11 ERA and 130 strike outs while it .365 batting average with three home runs and 19 RBI’s...in her senior season, Keiki hit .592 batting average, 26 RBI’s, five homeruns, .959 slugging percentage in offense…as pitcher, Keiki pitched 16 complete games, five of which were shutouts…played for the club team, Island Athletes for two years and were U-18 state champions in 2012, U-16 state champions in 2011, and placed 13th at the U-16 nationals in 2011… earned a spot on MPI’s honor roll and President’s list…volunteered as a student ambassador on behalf of MPI’s Holomua Honor Society and was a member of the school’s Spanish Club and Interact Club.
