2018 (Senior): Medical Redshirt
Posted a 5-4 record while appearing in 10 games with nine starts before suffering a season-ending injury…fired two shutouts and one combined shutout with Emily Klee…threw six complete games…recorded a 1.97 ERA in 53.1 innings pitched…gave up 19 runs (15 earned) on 52 hits while issuing 14 walks and 42 strikeouts…fanned a career-high 12 strikeouts vs. New Mexico (2/16)…held opponents to a .245 batting average…missed the last 32 games of the season due to injury...was named the team’s top scholar-athlete…earned the Big West’s Scholar Athlete of the Year and a BWC Scholar-Athlete.

2017(Junior): Appeared in 35 games with 30 starts in the pitching circle…fired 27 complete games while recording a 19-12 overall record...posted eight shutouts and one save…ended the season with a team-best 1.85 ERA and 204.2 innings pitched ...169 strike outs and allowing 0.80 home runs per seven innings…tossed three games with a career-high 11 strike out against Sacramento State (Feb. 9), Marist (Mar. 11), and UC Davis (Apr. 1)…finished in the Big West's Top 10 pitching leaders in multiple categorizes: No. 7 in opposing batting average (.219), No. 5 in earned run average (1.85),  No. 4 strike outs looking (35), No. 2 in wins (19), innings pitched (204.1), and strike out (169)…earned first team all-Big West honors and earned NFCA Division I All-West Region third team honors...academically earned both Big West and NFCA scholar-athlete awards.

2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in 31 games with 29 starts in the pitching circle…posted a 13-15 overall record with four shutouts and 19 complete games…finished the season ranked No. 1 in the NCAA DI in “walks allowed per seven innings” with just 0.59 per game as she issued just 15 walks with a career-high 103 strikeouts in 177.0 innings pitched while recorded a 2.18 ERA overall (ranked No. 4 in the Big West)…struck out a career-high eight batters in the season opener against St. Mary’s (Feb. 11) she did not allow a walk in 21 total appearances…in conference, she went 7-7 with a 1.72 ERA in 15 appearances with 11 complete games with 11 walks with 45 strikeouts in 89.2 innings pitched…earned her second career Big West Pitcher of the Week honor (May 9) after leading UH to a pair of wins over Cal Poly in the final home series of the year…in the Senior Day home finale against the Mustangs, she shut down Cal Poly, flirting with a perfect game through the first 5-2/3 innings retiring the first 17-straight batters and ended up firing an eight inning, two-hit shutout…was voted to the all-Big West second team honors for the second straight season…named a UH Scholar-Athlete with highest honors (3.51+ cumulative GPA) and was the team’s top scholar athlete in 2016.

2015 (Freshman): Appeared in 32 games with 29 starts in the pitching circle...fired 15 complete games including four shutouts...finished the season with a 2.37 ERA in 174.1 innings pitched....held opposing batters to a .277 batting average with 40 walks and 85 strike outs...against Seattle in Las Vegas, Nev., she fired her first career shutout against the RedHawks, allowing just five hits over five innings for an 8-0 win...struck out a career-high six batters in three different games--against Oregon State (Mar. 6), East Carolina (Mar. 10), and Long Beach State (Apr. 11)...earned a career-high eight inning complete game win against Columbia (Mar. 17)...recorded a 9-2 record in conference with a 2.12 ERA in 76.0 innings pitched...earned Big West Pitcher of the Week honors (Mar. 9) after posting a 3-0 record in four appearances in the Outrigger Resorts Spring Fling Tournament with a win in relief over Longwood followed by a pair of complete game wins over Pac-12 teams Oregon State and Utah...voted the Most Valuable Pitcher for the Outrigger Resorts Spring Fling tournament...earned Big West second team honors as well as all-freshman team honors...named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) all-West region third team...named a 2015 UH scholar-athlete and was the team's top scholor athlete with highest grade point average.

2014: Granted a Medical Redshirt

Prep: A 2013 graduate of Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach, Calif....lettered four years in softball, three years in volleyball, and one year in soccer…for her four-year pitching career, compiled a 0.77 ERA with a 49-17 overall record with 486 strike outs to just 62 walks…on offense for her career, hit .408 (127-for-360) with 68 runs scored and 85 RBI… as a freshman, was named the Rookie of the Year and to the all-league first team in softball…was also the Most Valuable Player for the soccer team in the Fall of 2009… in her sophomore year, was voted to the all-state second team; named the league’s Pitcher of the Year; selected Offensive Most Valuable Player for the Seahawks after hitting .465 (40-for-86) with 22 RBI and 16 runs scored… as a junior, earned league Pitcher of the Year honor for the second straight year after posting an 11-4 record with a 0.57 ERA with nine shut outs in 15 appearances and 101 strike outs to 12 walks…earned all-league first team and MVP team honors for second straight year and first team all-CIF…in her senior season, earned several awards: league MVP; all-CIF, all-county second team; league and Ocean View’s Female Athlete of the Year; named Orange County and Coaches’ Association All-Star…as a senior pitcher, recorded a career-best 19-5 record and a 0.65 ERA with 149.2 innings pitched…fanned 183 opposing batters while walking 16 while giving up just 14 earned runs…on offense, hit .386 with 22 RBI and 19 runs scored.

Personal: Born in Anaheim, Calif….nominated for Ocean View High’s academic awards in biology, geography, advanced placement English, world history and was a Golden Hawk Award nominee…is a general arts and sciences major...has one sister and one brother...parents are Kim and Henry Hitchcock of Huntington Beach, California.
