2016 (Junior): Appeared in 33 games with 24 starts— 17 at pitcher and 17 as the designated player… finished the season with a .183 batting average (13-for-71) with three doubles, two home runs, six RBI, seven walks and eight runs scored…went 1-for-1 in stolen bases… posted a career-high two hits twice, against Portland State (Feb. 26) and Utah Valley (Feb. 27)…scored a career-high two runs against Utah Valley (Feb. 26)……as a pitcher, appeared in 28 games with 17 starts in the circle…she posted a 3.45 ERA in 134 innings pitched with a record of 8-11… finished with 11 complete games and two shutouts…recorded 77 strikeouts and 38 walks… had a season-high of nine strikeouts against UC Riverside (Apr. 16)…opened the season with two shutouts and earned her first career Big West Pitcher of the Week honor (Feb. 15) after blanking Ole Miss 3-0 and UMKC, 5-0 in her two appearances--faced just 28 Ole Miss batters, scattering four hits with three walks and then had three strike outs in the shutout win over the Rebels, registering a 0.00 ERA in 14 innings of work while facing just 53 batters in the two games…named a UH Scholar-Athlete with highest honors (3.51+ cumulative GPA).
2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in 37 games with 24 starts in the pitching circle…recorded a 13-15 overall record overall with a 2.82 ERA in 158.2 innings pitched…fired four shut outs with 15 complete games…posted a team-high three saves…struck out 95 strike outs with 45 walks while holding opposing hitters to a .271 average…in Big West games posted a 4-6 record in 12 appearances with eight complete games and a 2.54 ERA in 63.1 innings pitched…in UH’s second game against Virginia Tech (Mar. 14), was locked into a pitchers’ duel with the Hokies’ Maggie Tyler, with Aina Cabrales giving up just one run while scattering six hits with no walks and two strike outs in a 1-0 loss to the Hokies…against Columbia (Mar. 17) struck out a career-high 13 batters in a complete-game effort with no walks in a 5-1 win over the Lions, while on offense, she launched her first UH home run (her second collegiate home run)…went 2-for-14 at the plate for a .143 batting average with two runs scored, two RBI and a home run...earned all-tournament honors for both the Oceanic Time Warner Cable Paradise Classic and the Pepsi Malihini Kipa aloha Tournament...named a 2015 UH scholar-athlete.
Prior to UH: Played her freshman season at Georgia Tech...appeared in 36 games as both a pitcher and a designated player...on offense, she finished ranked fourth on the team with a .333 batting average (33-for-99) with four doubles, a home run and 18 RBI in her rookie season...as a pitcher, she recorded a 7-10 record with a 5.70 ERA with eight complete games in 23 appearances and 105.2 innings pitched...was on the Dean's List for both the fall and spring semester of her freshman year at Georgia Tech.
Prep: Played two years at Grayson High School (Loganville, Ga.) before transferring to Archer High School (Lawrenceville, Ga.) for her junior and senior year...was named the 2012 County Pitcher of the Year award and was also the 2012 Georgia Dugout Club Player of the Year and the 2012 Gwinnett Daily Post Pitcher of the Year...as a senior, helped to lead the Tigers to the school's first AAAAAA state title with an overall team record of 33-7...as a pitcher, she posted a 24-4 record with a 1.23 ERA with 184 strikeouts in 182 innings pitched...on offense, tallied a .405 batting average with 49 hits, 11 doubles, five home runs, 17 runs scored, 31 RBI and 22 walks as a senior.
