Biography

2008 (Senior): Played in 12 games with two starts…started back-to-back road games at Utah State (Nov. 1) and New Mexico State (Nov .8)…missed games versus Oregon State (Sept. 13) and Louisiana Tech (Oct. 11)…finished season with 11 tackles, including seven solo…also had 3.5 tackles-for-loss, one sack and one quarterback hurry.


2007 (Junior): Appeared in all 13 games, started 11 at defensive tackle...amassed 25 tackles, including 6.5 for loss...also had 2.5 sacks and three quarterback hurries...credited with six tackles against Fresno State (Nov. 10)...had two tackles for loss against New Mexico State (Oct. 27).

2006 (Sophomore): Played in seven games off the bench, three to start the season and the final four of the regular season.

2005 (Freshman): Saw limited action on special teams.

2004: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of St. Louis School in Honolulu, O‘ahu...played three seasons on the defensive line for the Crusaders...recorded seven sacks in his senior season, as St. Louis finished the season as the state runner-up...earned all-state second-team recognition from the Honolulu Star Bulletin and all-state honorable mention by The Honolulu Advertiser... named honorable mention all-league his junior and senior seasons...led team to the state championship in 2002...also lettered in track...participated in the discus and shot put...a member of LIFE and the student council.

Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu...majoring in sociology...related to former Warriors Uriah Moenoa and Matt Faga...has two older brothers and one younger sister...parents are Manino and Fale Laeli of Honolulu, O‘ahu.
