Biography

2005 (Junior): Played and started 54 games...had team highs in batting average (.369), RBI (47, and homeruns (6)...also posted 36 runs with 19 doubles and two triples.

2004 (Sophomore): Played in 39 games, starting 37 at second base...hit .313 with 24 RBI and 18 runs...earned second-team all-WAC honors...started the year on a 6-for-35 slump before breaking out with a huge 11-game hitting streak from 3/26 to 4/23...hit .514 during that streak with eight RBI...had back-to-back 3-for-4 games with two RBI, one double and one run each at Louisiana Tech (3/26-3/27)...went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one homer and one double at Nevada (5/21)...had 10 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games.

2003 (Freshman): Played in 45 games, starting 43 at second base and one at DH...had the teams' longest hitting streak at 12 games (3/2-25)...also had a 10 game hitting streak (4/18-5/10)...had 12 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu...lettered three years under coach Dunn Muramaru...named all-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honorable mention in 2000...honored as first team all-ILH and first team all-state in 2001...garnered second team all-state and a special mention award in the ILH in 2002...was on the honor roll two years.

Personal: Born in Honolulu...plans to major in sports medicine...favorite athletes are Jose Vidro and Alfonso Soriano...favorite food is canned salmon with rice and tobasco sauce...other favorites include the movie "There's Something About Mary".
