2005 (Senior): Started 16 games on the mound...went 8-3 with a 3.17 ERA...recorded 110 strikeouts in 105.0 innings...led team in wins.

2004 (Junior): Made 17 appearances and 13 starts as the UH No. 2 starter...carried a 8-4 record with a 3.52 ERA in 87.0 innings with 70 strikeouts and 37 walks...earned second-team all-WAC honors...picked up his first win vs. UH-Hilo (2/21), giving up two runs on just one hit with five strikeouts in 6.0 innings...gave up just two hits and one run with five strikeouts vs. Oregon State (3/3)...had a great outing at Rice (3/20), giving up no earned runs while striking out seven in a complete game, but unfortunately dropped a 3-0 pitchers' duel...had best start of the year vs. San Jose State (4/3), giving up no runs and just three hits in 7.1 innings...pitched 8.0 innings vs. Louisiana Tech (4/17), striking out five with no walks and just one run.

2002 and 2003 (Freshman and Sophomore): Played two years at Feather River in Quincy, Calif...played on the 2003 Golden Valley Conference championship team.

Prep: A 2001 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Calif...played three years of baseball under head coach Ron Souza...named all-section twice...also played two years of football.

Personal: Born in Chico, Calif...enjoys hunting and fishing...lists Nolan Ryan as his favorite athlete...other favorites include his mothers' chicken and singer Kenny Chesney...proudest moment was when he threw a no-hitter.
