Biography

2008 (Senior): Played in 36 games with 32 starts...batted .236 with 21 runs and 11 RBI...also had one double, one triple, and one homerun.

2007 (Junior): Played in 44 games, started 38...recorded 39 hits and fifth on team with 10 doubles...finished season with a .277 batting average...had eight multiple-hit games...last month of season had an eight game hitting streak from 5/3 to 5/20...went 3-for-4 at UH-Hilo with one RBI to start off streak.

2006 (Sophomore): Played in 50 games, started 45 in center field...finished season with .313 batting average...tallied 27 RBI and 29 runs scored...had 16 multiple-hit games...went 2-for-4 with two runs vs. San Diego St. (2/2).

2005 (Freshman): Played in 38 games, starting 25 in the outfield...finished the season with a .275 batting average, 16 runs, nine RBI, two doubles, two triples and three stolen bases...batted .297 with 14 runs in WAC play...had a two-run triple vs. Pacific (2/19)...hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games played...went 3-for-4 with a stolen base at San Jose St. (4/24)...was 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI vs. Nevada (4/28)...went 3-for-4 with two runs and a double vs. Nevada (4/30)...had a 2-for-3 game with two runs and one RBI at Rice (5/21).

2004: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2003 graduate from Shorecrest High School in Seattle...played under coaches Brett Medallia and Jim Berg...earned all-state honors one year as an outfielder...was a three-time first-team all-WESCO outfielder and a second-team all-WESCO pitcher as a junior...had a career batting average of .413...hit .433 with six home runs during senior season.

Personal: Born in San Diego, Calif...plans to major in journalism...chose UH over Washington, Long Beach State and San Diego State...favorite athlete is Barry Bonds...other favorites include catfish, the movie "Office Space," and actor Jim Carey.
