2001: Redshirted.

2000 (Junior): Made 13 relief outings posting an 0-1 mark…lone loss came against Lewis-Clark State (Mar. 30) in the Easter Tournament…is tied on the school's all-time lists for relief appearances (68) and tied for third in total appearances (70) with Jeff Ball (1987-90)

1999 (Sophomore): Led the staff in appearances with 30…his only start came at Air Force (Apr. 6) when scheduled starter Dusty Bergman missed the team van…in his first 10 showings of the season, he allowed just two singles and no earned runs spanning 10 innings…longest outing was 6.1 innings in relief against Fresno State (Mar. 20) when he posted a career-high five strikeouts and notched his first win…his other win came against Northwestern in the Easter Tournament (Mar. 23)…allowed just one earned run in his final five relief appearances…of the 35 runners he inherited, only 12 scored…retired the first batter he faced 21 times in 29 relief outings…was 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA in 16 showings in the WAC…overall, opponents hit .282 (LH=.278; RH=.284)…ninth on the UH all-time list in relief outing with 55 behind Jeff Ball, who leads with 68.

1998 (Freshman): Appeared in 27 games, 26 in relief – the most on the staff…led the mound corps in saves with five…began the season 3-0 picking up a pair of wins in relief in the first weekend against San Francisco…did not allow an earned run in his first seven outings.

Prep: A 1997 graduate of Green Valley High School in Henderson, Nev…earned two letters as a pitcher in baseball and three as a quarterback in football…selected to the all-division team as a pitcher and the all-conference team as a quarterback…led Green Valley to state baseball titles his junior and senior seasons…coached in baseball by Rodger Fairless…was a four year scholar-athlete…a member of the Yearbook and Varsity clubs.
