Biography

2002 (Sophomore): Played in 25 games, starting 14...batted .125 with six runs and seven RBI...had two doubles and two homeruns.

2001 (Freshman) : Played in 46 games making 42 starts (41=LF, 1=DH)…had eight multi-hit and five multi-RBI games…longest hitting streak spanned eight games from Feb. 1-Feb. 16…had an outstanding month of February batting .359 (14-for-39) in 12 games picking up two doubles, four homers, 11 RBI, and scored 11 times while stealing 7-of-10 bases…batted .188 in 29 WAC games collecting three doubles, a home run, six RBI, and scored 12 runs…had a career-high three hits at San Jose State (Mar. 3)…knocked in a career-high five RBI going just 1-for-1 against Louisville (Feb. 10) with a three-run shot and two sacrifice flies, which tied a UH single game mark…hit .240 against southpaws and .220 against right handers.

2000: Earned a medical hardship after sustaining a torn labrum in his right throwing shoulder after participating in only seven games.

Prep: A 1999 graduate of Shorewood High School in Seattle, Wash…a four-year letterman in baseball for Rodney Walker, Gary Snider, and Wyatt Tonkin…earned all-district honors three times while leading team to the 1998 and 1999 WESCO championships.

Personal: Born in Seattle, Wash…chose UH for the opportunity to be on a winning team, great stadium, and warm weather…biggest athletic achievement was smacking three home runs in one game…enjoys playing golf with his clubs being his most prized possession.
