Biography

2002 (Senior): Started all 56 games...batted .273 with 31 runs and 26 RBI...had 14 doubles and one homerun.

2001 (Junior):
 Participated in 42 games making 29 starts (SS=17; 2B=9; DH=3)…had 11 multi-hit and two multi-RBI games…had a career-best seven-game hitting streak from April 21-May 4…tied his career-high in runs (3) at Hawai'i-Hilo (May 12)…hit .235 versus left-handed pitchers and .355 against right handers…went 1-for-6 as a pinch-hitter…led all individuals with a .380 road average in 15 games…came on strong down the stretch sporting a .368 average in 11 games in April and a .379 average in nine games in May…posted a .329 batting average in 26 WAC games including four doubles, seven RBI, and 13 runs.

2000 (Sophomore): Played in 43 games making 30 starts (SS=20, 2B=8, 3B=2)…had nine multi-hit and two multi-RBI games…game a mild five-game hitting streak from Feb. 4-Feb. 18…had a career-high nine assists against Sacramento State (Feb. 27)…batted .250 overall.

1999 (Freshman): Played in 38 games getting the starting nod in 34 (3B=22; SS=9; 2B=2; DH=1)…was the only first-year regular to bat above the .300 plateau…hit .500 the first half of season before cooling off…one of the top Rainbow batters at home posting a .351 average…knocked in a career-high four RBI against Sacramento State (Feb. 6)…scored a career-high three times against Sacramento State (Feb. 6) and at Utah (May 1)…named all-Easter Tournament shortstop after batting .360 with five runs and six RBI…had 12 multi-hit and four multi-RBI games…hit .267 in 20 WAC games with eight RBI and 12 runs…batted .302 overall (LH=.148; RH=.339)…named team’s co-Most Outstanding First Year Player.

Prep: A 1997 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu…a three-year letterman in baseball…a second team Interscholastic League of Honolulu and honorable-mention all-state selection…coached by Dunn Muramaru.
