Biography

2002 (Senior): Went 2-3 in 17 appearances...had a 4.08 ERA with 52 strikeouts in 64.0 innings.

2001 (Junior): Made 21 appearances including two starts on the hill…his two pitching starts came against Centenary (Mar. 29) – going a career-high eight innings with a career-high six strikeouts – and at Sacramento (May 1) in a pre-designated two-inning stint…notched his first career victory in relief in the season opener against Sacramento State (Jan. 25)…in nine non-league mound appearances, he was 3-0 with a 6.38 ERA…at the plate, he batted .318 in 22 at-bats spanning 14 games…was 5-for-6 (.833) as a pinch-hitter, including a solo pinch-hit home run against Rice (Mar. 8) in the bottom of the ninth…in WAC games in was 1-0 in 12 appearances with a 15.09 ERA while batting .316 in 11 games in the field…opponents hit .314 against him (RH=.280; LH=.440)…named to the 2001 Academic all-WAC team maintaining a 3.93 grade point average.

2000 (Sophomore): Began the season in the Rainbow bullpen and late in the season played some first base and DH…made 10 relief appearances and played in six games as a position player, four as the DH and two at first base…on the hill, had game-highs in innings pitched (3.0)

1999 (Freshman): Made 11 short relief appearances…did not allow an earned run in his first four and last three outings…struckout a game-high three batters in one inning of work against UCLA (Jan. 23) getting credit for the combined shutout of the Bruins…made nine one-inning stints…retired seven of the 11 first batters he faced…made just three outings in the WAC allowing five earned runs in 1.1 innings…owned a 2.70 ERA in four outings during the second half of the season…one of the top hurlers at home with a 1.42 ERA in seven showings…in his eight non-WAC appearances, posted a 1.13 ERA…overall, opponents hit .385 (LH=.357; RH=.400).

Prep: A 1998 graduate of Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, Calif…earned letters in baseball, basketball, and soccer…baseball coach was Jim Purkey…named to the all-league squads his junior and senior seasons in both baseball and basketball.

Personal: Born in San Francisco, Calif…majoring in political science…favorites include photography, sushi, the movie "Bull Durham," and retired major leaguer Will Clark…enjoys listening to music and watching SportsCenter…has one brother…parents are Lini Bodian and Jack Pribble.
