2001 (Freshman): Played in 40 games making 33 starts (SS=26; DH=5; RF2)…produced 12 multi-hit and 4 multi-RBI games…named to Louisville Slugger's Freshmen All-American Team as a honorable-mention selection…named second team all-WAC as a designated hitter…had the team's longest hitting streak at 15 games from Feb. 24-Apr. 8…led all true freshmen with a .306 average…hit .372 with runners in scoring position while posting a .571 average in seven trips to the plate with the bases loaded…was 0-for-1 as a pinch-hitter…had a season-high four hits and five RBI against Centenary (Mar. 29)…named to the 26th Verizon Rainbow Easter Tournament all-Tournament shortstop pounding out a .542 average over six games with three doubles, a homer, nine runs, and 10 RBI while going on to be named the WAC's Player-of-the-Week…batted .275 in 24 WAC games with six doubles, a triple, 10 RBI, and 12 runs…hit .330 versus right-handed pitchers and .190 against lefties.

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, Utah…a three-year letterman in baseball…was a first team all-region and first team all-state shortstop…coached by Troy Norris…was named to the all-tournament team at the Pure Baseball Tournament
