Alex Sawelson had three hits and three RBI,
Jacob Sheldon-Collins added two hits, one run, and a series of stellar plays in the infield to lead the University of Hawai'i baseball team to its biggest win over No.15 Oregon, a 10-1 pummeling on Sunday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

The 'Bows (1-2) poured in eight runs over the first two innings to set the tone for their first win of the season and first in 11 games against Oregon (2-1). Sawelson,
Eric Ramirez (2 H, 2 R, 2 RBI), and
Jordan Richartz (3-4, 1 R, 2 RBI) all delivered RBI hits to help Hawai'i to five first-inning runs.

Meanwhile,
LJ Brewster (1-0) was impressive in his first career start. He tossed five and one-third innings allowing one run on five hits.
Cody Culp came in for his second appearance in as many days and picked up the save in three and two-thirds scoreless innings of relief.

Already with a sizable lead, the middle of the Hawai'i order was at it again in the second inning. Sheldon-Collins doubled to lead off the inning before Sawelson, Ramirez, and Richartz again delivered run-scoring hits.

Chayce Ka'aua had two hits and two RBI including a two-run double in the sixth inning to complete the scoring for the Rainbow Warriors.

Mitchell Tolman and Matt Eureste both had two hits for the Ducks with Eureste scoring his team's lone run of the game.

Hawai'i and Oregon conclude their series on Monday at 1:05 p.m.
