2017 (Junior):
Appeared in 15 games, making eight starts at shortstop…batted .160 with a double, two RBI, two runs scored and three walks…went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored in a win over San Jose State (March 26)…finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored against UC Davis (April 22)…drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning of a 3-1 win over UC Davis on April 23.
Prior To UH: Played two years at Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington…received 2016 first-team Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) all-Northern Region honors at shortstop after aiding the Bulldogs to a Northern Region Co-Championship…hit .325 as a sophomore, logging 11 runs and six RBI through 22 games...played alongside current UH teammates Dylan Vchulek and Dominic DeMiero at BC.
Prep: A 2014 graduate of Lake Washington High School (Kirkland, Wash.), where he played three years of varsity baseball and two years of basketball…aided the Kangs to a Runner-up finish in the 2014 WIAA 2A Baseball State Championships, following District 1/2 and Regional Championships…LWHS was Kingco Athletic Conference Co-Champions in 2013…a two-time first team all-KingCo honoree (2013-14), also received first-team all-state honors as a senior after batting .441 with 17 runs and 14 RBI, reaching base at a .507 clip…only struck out five times in 59 at-bats as a senior…named Defensive MVP of the annual All-State Series (2014)...received second-team all-KingCo honors as a sophomore…played four years of club baseball for the Kirkland Merchants.
