Biography

2019 (Senior):
  • Appeared in eight games with four starts on the mound as a senior.
  • Went 1-1 with a 4.43 ERA while holding opposing hitters to a .280 batting average.
  • Recorded 10 strikeouts in 22.1 innings.
  • Earned the win versus Longwood, going 3.1 innings without giving up a run in the start in a staff game (March 5).
  • Tossed two scoreless innings out of the bullpen in a win at Cal Baptist (April 30).

  • Appeared in 13 games, making 12 starts at different positions in the rotation.
  • Logged a 4-5 record with a 3.23 ERA and 41 strikeouts, versus just 11 walks in 75.1 innings pitched.
  • Walked only 1.31 batters per nine innings, which ranked second in the Big West and 28th in the NCAA.
  • Ranked 128th nationally and seventh in the conference with a 3.73 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
  • Picked up the win in his first career start going seven innings while allowing one run on six hits with five strikeouts against NC State (Feb. 18)

  • Played one season as a pitcher at Bellevue College in Washington.
  • Received first-team all-Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) honors and was selected as a member of the Northwest-Pacific Association ABCA/Rawlings All-Region first team.
  • Started 13 games for Bellevue, going 7-2 with a 2.74 ERA.
  • Against NWAC opponents, he pitched three complete games in six starts, recording an 0.94 ERA and 5-0 record.

  • Played four years at Mountlake Terrace High School, northwest of Seattle, Wash., where he helped the Hawks to four state tournament appearances.
  • A two-time first-team All-Wesco selection as a pitcher and first baseman during his final two seasons, while receiving second-team all-state honors in both years.
  • Received All-Wesco honorable mention as a sophomore after helping Mountlake to a district championship.
  • Recorded 107 strikeouts in 127 career innings, notching a 3.47 ERA and 12 wins.
  • Recorded three complete games.
  • At the plate, he hit .338 with a .404 on-base percentage across 79 varsity games, bringing in 51 RBI with 30 runs scored.
