2000-2001 (Freshman and sophomore): A two-time letterman for his father, Robert, at Triton Junior College in River Grove, Ill…named to the all-league and all-district teams…helped team to an 8th place finish at the 2000 Junior College World Series…coached by his father, Bob…a member of the Dean's List and the honor roll.

Prep: A 1999 graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, ILL…was an all-conference and all-area choice…played on the White Sox Area Code and North Suburban All-Star teams…coached by Bob Mackey.
