Appeared in six games, all out of the bullpen…went 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA with three strikeouts in 9.1 innings pitched…threw a perfect ninth inning to finish off a 14-1 win over San Jose State on March 26...tossed a season-best three innings with two strikeouts against Indiana (March 17).
Prior To UH: Played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa…aided the Reivers to consecutive NJCAA World Series (2016) appearances, as well as consecutive Northern District Tournament and Regional Tournament Championships…IWCC finished the 2016 season ranked fifth nationally and fourth in 2015…named all-Region XI second team as a sophomore after tallying a 7-1 record and 3.99 ERA through 13 appearances (nine starts), striking out 51 in 47.1 innings…was a first-team all-Region XI selection as a freshman with a 7-2 record and 3.24 ERA in 12 appearances largely in relief…struck out 54 in 50.0 innings.
