2012 (Junior): Started all 55 games for the Rainbows in centerfield...batted .267 with 23 runs, 20 RBI, eight doubles, and three homeruns...hit safely in 12 of his first 14 games...recorded two hits and one run in the season opener against Oregon (Feb. 17)...had seven hits and seven runs scored in the five-game series with Wagner College...in the Wagner series finale (Feb. 26), he batted 3-4 including a double and a homerun, and scored two runs and recorded a career-high four RBI...hit 2-3 with one run, one RBI, and a double against Central Michigan (Mar. 7)...had two hits in each of the first two games at Gonzaga (Mar. 23 & 24)...hit 2-4 with one run against UC Davis (Mar. 30), then the next night batted 2-5 with one RBI...went 2-3 with two runs and three RBI in the WAC opener against Fresno State (Apr. 5)...hit 3-4 with one RBI and two doubles against St. Mary's (Apr. 14)...belted a homerun in UH's WAC road opener against San Jose State (Apr. 20)...hit 2-4 at Sacramento State (May 12) and 2-3 versus Nevada (May 17)...closed the season on a five-game hitting streak.
2011 (Sophomore): Played in 52 games, starting 50 in the outfield...batted .298 with 54 runs, 16 doubles, two triples, one homerun, and 22 RBI...was third in the WAC with 16 stolen bases...posted 18 multi-hit games...had a career-high five hits (5-7) at New Mexico State (5/21) with four runs, two RBI, and one double...recorded four RBI and two stolen bases vs. Portland (3/12)...batted 3-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double against Wichita State (4/1)...batted 2-5 in the second game of a doubleheader vs. New Mexico State (5/19), adding four runs and two doubles.
2010 (Freshman): Saw action in 16 games with nine starts in the outfield…posted four hits, six runs, and two RBI…also hit one double and one homerun…recorded just one error on the season, finishing with a .950 fielding percentage…had a season-best performance at the plate versus Oregon State (2/22), batting 2-3…hit 1-3 with one run, one RBI, and one homerun versus Oregon (2/28).
Prep: A 2009 graduate of Iolani School…played baseball and football for three years…baseball team won ILH championship in 2009…football team won ILH and Division 2 state championship in 2007 and 2008…in 2008 named to all-ILH first team and all-state second team for baseball…in 2009 named to all-ILH and all-state first team…won Hawai‘i Player of the Year award…named Hawai‘i Gatorade Player of the Year…named Hawai‘i Louisville Slugger Player of the Year…named to all-ILH first team and all-state second team in 2008 for football…batting average was .461 in 2008…also was part of Habitat for Humanity and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
