2012 (Senior): Played in 21 games with 13 starts...batted .140 (7-50) on the season with seven runs scored and six RBI...had a four-game hitting streak early in the season...in a pinch hitter role, he doubled in two runs against Wagner College (Feb. 26)...doubled in three consecutive games, with four total on the season...recorded one hit and two RBI against UC Davis (Mar. 31)...hit 2-4 with two runs, one RBI, and a double at Grambling State (Apr. 24)...had a hit and scored a run in his final regular season game as a Rainbow (May 19).
2011 (Junior): Played in 27 games while starting 20, mainly at third base...batted .243 with 11 runs, two doubles, three homeruns, and 10 RBI...finished with a .400 slugging percentage...recorded a hit and a double in his first start as a Rainbow (LMU, 3/4)...batted 2-5 with one run, two RBI, and one homerun vs. Portland (3/12)...hit 2-4 with one run and one double at New Mexico State (5/19)...vs. Louisiana Tech in the WAC Tournament, he started at third base and batted 3-6 with three runs, one RBI, and one double.
Prior to UH: Attended Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Calif....named First-Team All-Conference in 2010 and selected to the Junior College All-America Team...batted .350 last season 12 homeruns and 45 RBI.
Prep: Graduated from Servite High School in Anaheim, Calif....earned All-League honors in 2006 and 2007...batted .300 with four homeruns his senior season.
Personal: Born in Artesia, Calif....parents are Robin and Tony Bayus...came to UH for the excellent coaching staff and success of the program.
