2011 (Junior): Started 15 games at pitcher...went 5-5 on the season with a 3.67 earned run average...was named to the WAC all-tournament team...pitched seven or more innings in four consecutive starts (3/18-4/8)...pitched seven innings in UH's WAC Tournament win over San Jose State, allowing no runs on five hits with three strikeouts...tossed a career-high eight innings vs. Centenary (3/18) allowing one run with seven strikeouts...allowed no earned runs in consecutive starts (Sacramento State, 4/8 and Louisiana Tech, 4/15)...earned a win vs. San Jose State (5/12), pitching seven innings allowing two runs.
2010 (Sophomore): Pitched in 15 games with 13 starts…finished the season 5-5 with a 5.27 ERA…delivered one combined shutout…pitched a total of 71.2 innings while striking out 48 batters…allowed no earned runs in four of his outings…allowed no earned runs in consecutive appearances (Nevada, 5/1 and New Mexico State, 5/14), tossing a combined 11.0 innings with 11 strikeouts, six hits, and two walks…pitched seven innings in each of his two postseason starts (Fresno State, 5/28 and San Diego, 6/4). Team earned wins in both games.
2009 (Freshman): Made 14 appearances, including 13 starts…finished with a 5-4 record, two complete games and a 4.37 ERA in 82.1 innings pitched, striking out 50 with just 14 walks…earned third team all-freshman honors from Ping!…got the win over UC Irvine (Feb. 22) in his first collegiate start, striking out four with no walks and two runs in 7.0 innings…allowed just one run in 7.0 innings with three strikeouts and no walks in a win over Oregon (Mar. 21)…got another win over Coastal Carolina (Mar. 27), allowing one run in 5.0 innings…took the hard-luck loss vs. San Jose State (Apr. 4), pitching a seven-inning complete game with just one earned run…got a win at Nevada (Apr. 10)…struck out seven with just two runs in a nine-inning complete game loss to Sacramento State (Apr. 18)…pitched 7.0 shutout innings with four strikeouts and no walks vs. Utah Valley (May 15)…struck out seven with three runs in 6.0 innings vs. Nevada (May 22) in the WAC Tournament.
