2012 (Senior): Became Hawai'i's primary closer, making 21 appearances out of the bullpen and recording a team-high eight saves...posted a team-best 1.14 ERA, pitching 31.2 innings on the season with 13 strikeouts and just five walks...had a streak of eight straight scoreless outings...struck out a season-high three batters in 1.2 innings against Oregon...pitched 1.2 scoreless innings against Oregon (Feb. 20)...worked a season-high 3.1 innings for a win against Wagner College (Feb. 24), allowing no runs with two strikeouts...recorded two strikeouts in 1.2 of scoreless work to pick up a save against San Francisco (Mar. 17)...allowed no earned runs in two innings at Sacramento State (May 11).
2011 (Junior): Made 16 appearances on the mound out of the bullpen...posted a 2-1 record with a 6.46 earned run average...recorded 16 strikeouts in 30.2 innings...tossed a career-high 4.2 innings with two strikeouts at Nevada (5/5)...allowed no runs in 2.1 innings at Fresno State (4/30)...struck out three batters in 1.2 innings of work vs. Wichita State (3/31).
Prior to UH: Attended Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, Calif....played for two years...posted a 7-2 record in 2010 with a 3.67 ERA...struck out 29 batters on the season in 21 appearances.
Prep: Graduated from Galt High School in Galt, Calif....lettered in baseball and basketball for three years...was a two-time league MVP...went 6-2 his senior season with a 2.00 ERA...All-Metro Honorable Mention.
