Biography

2009 (Senior): Appearred in 45 games with 41 starts--one in rightfield, five each at first base and designated players, and 30 in leftfield...started final 19 games of the season...hit a career-high .268 (30-for-112) overall...also had career-highs in runs (14), hits (30), doubles (8), home runs (6), and RBI (15)...had a slugging percentage of .500...all six home runs came against conference opponents...had eight multiple-hit games and finished the season with a career-high seven game hitting streak (4/25-5/8/09)...finished career with a .251 batting average with 39 runs, 16 doubles and nine homers.

2008 (Junior): Started in 44 out of 46 games played…started 32 games at first base and 13 as the designated player…hit career season-highs in runs scored (12), hits (27), and RBI (12)…hit third home run of her career at Fresno State (Apr. 25)…against San Jose State in an elimination game of the WAC Tournament (May 8), helped lead the ‘Bows to overcome a 4-0 deficit after the first inning, going 3-for-3 at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored in the 12-4 win in seven innings…hit .358 with runners on base…on defense, did not make an error with 181 put-outs and two assists…in conference action, played 13 games and is hitting .243 (9-for-37) with two doubles and one home run with six RBI…named to the all-WAC second team as the designated player and voted to the WAC all-tournament team in the utility/non-pitcher category.

2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in 21 games, starting seven in right field...had a .217 batting average (5-for-23) with four runs scored, and two RBI...against No. 15 Nebraska, had a season-high two-hits. 

2006 (Freshman): The freshman appeared in 40 games last season, starting 25...had a .250 batting average in 76 at bats...at Grambling State (Mar. 27) hit her first career home run...in WAC play, she hit .265 with two doubles...was named second team all-WAC as a designated player. 

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Glendale HS in Glendale, Calif...earned four letters in softball and three letters in volleyball...was a Pacific League first team selection all four years, eventually receiving league MVP honors in her senior campaign...garnered Glendale News Press all-area first team in all four years...was a two time Los Angeles Daily News all-area first team selection...also named to the volleyball all-league team in 2004 as well as team MVP...had her jersey retired in 2005.

Personal: Born in Burbank, Ca...majoring in business marketing/management...enjoys hanging out with friends in her spare time...lists math and physiology as her favorite subject...favorites include kalua pig and poi, actress Sandra Bullock, and athlete Tiger Woods...says she would try golf as her other sport...has one brother Robert and two sisters Tyanne and Alyce...parents are Corliss and Lyle Andrade.
