2016 (Senior): Started all 53 games in center field and in the leadoff spot…led the team in runs scored with 29 and triples with five…hit two home runs which was tied for the most on the team…hit .270 on the season which was fifth highest on the team…was second on the team in hits (55), RBI (24), and doubles (9)…also second on the team and fourth in the Big West in walks, drawing 38…on-base-percentage of .392 was good for third best on the team…went on a nine game hitting streak from 3/24-4/10 with six-of-nine being multi-hit games, hitting .435 in that span…racked up 15 multi-hit games, the second most on the team…had a career-high four hits versus San Francisco (2/26), going 4-for-6 with a three-run home run…hit first career home run versus New Mexico (2/20)…named to the CoSIDA Academic All-Region 8 team.
2015 (Junior): Appeared in 40 games of his first season at Hawai’i, largely as a defensive specialist in right field, while also starting 14 contests in the outfield…Batted .180 with four (4) doubles, chipping in two (2) RBI and nine (9) runs…Reached base at a .306 clip, six (6) times via walk and five (5) as a hit batter, stealing a perfect 3-for-3 times…Held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, recording 35 putouts and three (3) assists…Hit 2-for-4 with a double in neutral site game at Minute Maid Park versus Baylor (3/6)…Also came through with a 2-for-3 outing, including a double, against No. 7 UC Santa Barbara (4/26)…Added RBI in games at Pepperdine (2/26) and versus UC Davis (4/3)…Closed out the season strong, hitting 1-for-1 and stealing second as a pinch hitter versus Abilene Christian (5/23) in Tucson, Ariz., following up with a 1-for-2 outing against Arizona (5/24), hitting a double and scoring a run.
Prior To UH: Played two (2) seasons at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, California under Coach Damon Neidlinger, aiding the Bear Cubs to a 2013 Big 8 Conference Championship…During his second season at SRJC, LoCoco earned first team All-Big 8 Conference honors after batting .288, scoring 33 runs with 15 RBI, leading the team with 17 stolen bases, and recording a .989 fielding percentage...In his sophomore season, LoCoco recorded seven (7) doubles and team highs of three (3) triples and two (2) home runs…During his first season with the Bear Cubs, LoCoco batted .217 in 18 games, scoring five (5) runs with three (3) RBI, stealing three (3) bases and fielding a perfect 1.000...played his sophomore season alongside 2016 UH teammate Kyle Mitchell.
Prep: A 2011 graduate of Piner High School in Santa Rosa, Calif., where he was a two-year baseball letterman under Nate Eisenman, also lettering in basketball…LoCoco batted .500 during his senior season, scoring 15 runs with nine (9) RBI, tallying three (3) doubles and two (2) triples and had 13 stolen bases…For his senior efforts, LoCoCo earned first team All-North Bay League honors (2011)…As a junior, LoCoco batted .323 with 13 RBI and 15 runs scored.
