2007-08 (Freshman): Finished second in 100m (1:08.88) and 200m (2:26.92) backstroke events against Arizona State (Sept. 29)...was second in 200 backstroke event (2:06.95) at UC Irvine Shootout...finished second in 200 yard back (2:07.62) against Wisconsin (Jan. 12)...member of the team that won the gold in the 800-yard freestyle relay at WAC Championships.

Prep: A 2007 graduate of Sportgymnasium Leipzig in Germany...swam for the club teams SSV Leutzsch and SV Handwerk Leipzig...placed second and third at the age group nationals in the 400 IM and 400 Free, respectively...took third at the junior nationals in the 200 Back in both 2006 and '07...won the 50 back and as a member of the 4x50 Medley and 6x50 Free relays at the European School Games.

Personal: Born March 25, 1988, in Leipzig, Germany...major is undecided...has one older brother...mother is Ines Schellenberg of Berlin, Germany.
